Timm Johnson 2 Timm Johnson, President, is a retired dairy farmer. He is an alumnus of the University of Wisconsin – Madison and a graduate of Osceola High School. He is president of the Osceola School Board, president of the Osceola Chamber of Commerce, Chair of the Town of Alden Plan Commission, and Chair of the Polk County Renewable Energy Committee. Timm and his wife, Helen, live in the Osceola area. They have two married daughters and two grandsons.
Bob Wolf 2 Bob Wolf, Vice President, is the Community Relations Manager of Osceola Medical Center, which includes Scandia Clinic, Wild River Fitness and the Cancer Center of Western Wisconsin. A graduate of the University of Wisconsin – River Falls, he has some 30 years of experience in marketing, project management and fundraising in industries including health care, manufacturing, engineering, education and tourism. He is vice president of the Osceola Chamber of Commerce and president of Wheels and Wings, Inc. Bob and his wife, Theresa, live in White Bear Lake, Minnesota. They have two children.
Marcia Dressel 2 Marcia Dressel, Secretary, is a teacher-librarian at the Osceola School District’s elementary and intermediate schools. She attended Wisconsin Lutheran College and is a graduate of UW, Eau Claire. Marcia serves on the Discovery Center Campaign Cabinet as Communications Representative. She is a member of the Osceola Public Library Board and a past member of the conference committee for the statewide network of media and technology professionals. Marcia and her husband, Dale, live in Osceola. They have five children.
Jeff Meyer 2 Jeffrey Meyer, Treasurer, retired as Chief Executive Officer of Osceola Medical Center. He is an alumnus of the University of Minnesota and Northeastern University in Boston. Jeff serves on the Discovery Center Campaign Cabinet as Vice Chair – Foundations Division. He is Chairman of the Osceola Airport Commission, and active in Wheels and Wings. Jeff and his wife, Ann, live in Osceola. They have two adult children.
Ronda Haley Ronda Haley, Member, was the Christian Education Director for Peace Lutheran Church in Dresser before retiring in 2016. She attended Augustana University in Sioux Falls, SD, and following graduation worked for IBM in Rochester, MN, as a programmer. Ronda is an active member at Peace Lutheran Church, accompanying for worship services, weddings, and funerals and leading a weekly women’s Bible study. Ronda lives in Osceola with her husband, John, and they have three adult children.
Susan Feske Susan Feske, Member is originally from Osceola. She studied business education at Augsburg College and health information management at the College of St. Scholastica. She recently retired as corporate manager of Disclosure Documentation and Management from Allina Health where she was a passionate advocate for patient rights. She is happy to have permanently returned to Osceola and to be becoming involved in the community again.
Diane Moser 2 Diane Moser, Member, now retired, was Vice President/Marketing at the St. Paul Pioneer Press before becoming an independent consultant. She is a graduate of Mankato State College. Diane serves on the Discovery Center Campaign Cabinet as Vice Chair – Friends of the Library Division. She was on the Board of the Newspaper Research Council and is an active member of Peace Lutheran Church, serving on the Council and the Outreach Ministry. Diane lives in the Osceola area and has a son and three stepsons.
Gary Beckmann 2 Gary Beckmann, Ex-Officio Member, is President of the Osceola Village Board. He is retired as CFO for an Osceola-based manufacturer. He serves on the Discovery Center Campaign Cabinet. Gary is chair of the Osceola Plan Commission and a member of the Osceola Leadership Development Team. He is a member and chair of the Osceola Medical Center Board, Community Health Foundation Board, Osceola Library Board and Chamber of Commerce Board; is on the Osceola Art Barn Board. Gary and his wife, Bev, live in Osceola. They have four adult children and four grandchildren.
Kelly McBride 2 Kelly McBride, Ex-Officio Member, is director of the Osceola Public Library and head of children’s services. She is an alumnus of both the University of Minnesota-Duluth and Minnesota State University of Mankato. She is currently working on a Master’s in Library & Information Science at St. Catherine’s University in St. Paul. She serves on the Discovery Center Campaign Cabinet as an Ex-Officio Member. She has two daughters.
Joel West 2 Joel B. West, Ex-Officio Member, is Osceola’s Village Administrator. With experience in public administration, public finance, planning, economic development and project management, Joel provides the team with both background and foresight in project implementation and planning community growth. He also has experience in residential and commercial development and public and private development consulting. Joel and his wife, Gloria, live in Osceola.
